ads-on-cpanel

Login to CPanel on one of my websites hosting in Exabytes and LOL I am greeted with this HUGE ads on exabyes.

Come on. Half of my tiny notebook screen was used and I can barely see any useful links. Why are you doing this to your paying customers?

No enough of sending newsletter, CPanel also want to advertise… market must be very bad I guess.

Feeling not satisfied, I use the ‘Contact’ link under the CPanel page to voice my opinion, and this is what I found on my email inbox few minutes later:

From [email protected]

Your inquiry was sent to the server administrator because no contact information was configured on the server. Attached is a copy of your inquiry for your reference:

body: Hi, I login to my cpanel and i am shocked to see the enormous display of exabyte ads on top of the cpanel, taking almost half of my tiny notebook display. what is this? Please remove it urgently, thank you.

So I guess someone has forgotten to configure the CPanel correctly, or am I not suppose to use the ‘contact’ link.

Nevermind, I went to Exabytes Client Service page and open a new ticket, and to their credit, within 10 minutes someone replied and they have restore my CPanel to the old theme, so no more on-your-face ads now.

p/s: on the [email protected] issue, got the reply: If you are facing any problem/query then you need to send your request/query from your billing area >> ‘Open Ticket’.

OK….whatever.
