After I installed WAMP, my 4images shows “GD library error. Check module
settings.” error message.

Suspecting something to do with php.ini, I checked it out and found the
following

extension=php_gd2.dll

I remarked it and restart apache service.. hmm now 4images thumbnail
function work perfectly.

How to increase the Maximum execution time of 30 seconds?

Found it…. change your PHP.ini

max_execution_time = 30 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in
seconds

to whatever time in second of your choice.. I changed mine to 180

Remember to restart your apache services for the setting to take effect…

Found this error Call to undefined function: file_put_contents() while
updating my content grabbing module in a php file.

Tried lookup the Net and found that file_put_contents() are supported in
PHP 5 only, while the local JSAS system that I am using is php 4
something…

Looks like time to update my local php4 to php5…

So a note to myself: register before its too late!

In my previous post I talked about joining Advolcano.
Now I try to browse their publisher websites and the first website I
already hit an error:

No suitable nodes are available to serve your request.

Hmm.. Perhaps more robust testing before roll out the site? Also I found
the site really not stable, you will find many page not found/time out
problems…

Just join a new ads network, Advalcano. Got heard about it from John
Chow’s blog.

Basically a very nice concept, and they only take 25% and the rest is
given to us.

However, their site is not very stable because I am having some problem
(page not found/timeout) when I was adding my websites information.

We will see if Advalcano is worth the time and hustle…

I downloaded Mobility Email

very much like ThunderBird..

When I tried login to my yahoo mail and I gave a wrong answer, the
response is “Negative Vibes from Yahoo”… I was, WTF! Why can’t just
say “wrong password or wrong user name”, making things complicated, as
like my life is not complicated enough..

This is to test my wordpress cron mail is working.
